Leduc is a city 33 kilometres south of the provincial capital of Edmonton Alberta and is part of the Edmonton metropolitan region. Leduc's population has been continually increasing due to the abundance of available land at low costs with the connivence of having the International Airport within its boundries. Lately, the average price of homes sold in Leduc has been increasing at the fastest rate in comparison to all the suburbs surrounding Edmonton.
Leduc has a wide variety of parks and sport amenities and has more than 35 kilometres of multi-use pathways. On the east end of the city lies Telford Lake and to the east is Saunders Lake.
